June 2006- BioCycle embark on Woodfest Wales

BioCycle Ltd exhibited at this years Woodfest Wales, on Bodafon fields in Llandudno.  The show was a great success all round and the BioCycle stand was a major talking point amongst exhibitors and visitors.

Thank you to everyone who attended the stand and showed great support and enthusiasm towards the BioTube and our environmental ethos.

May 2006- BioCycle - Green Apple Heroes BioCycle's Sales and Marketing Manager, Jackie Webb, pictured receiving the company's Green Hero Award at Kensington Roof Top Gardens.  The Award was presented by Professor David Bellamy, who displayed enormous interest in the BioTube.  BioCycle's 100% fully biodegradable tree shelter/guard.

March 2006- Albert Owen MP visit to BioCycle Ltd Mr Albert Owen MP being given a guided tour of BioCycle Ltd's purpose built factory on the Bryn Cefni Industrial Park, Llangefni, he was particularly interested and impressed by the newly installed tooling workshop, which includes state of the art Hurco Machining Centres, which opens up numerous opportunities for future product development.

February 2006 - BioCycle Tooling Up For The Future Keith Thurlow and Gerallt Roberts have recently been appointed to run our purpose built hi tech tooling workshop.  With 48 years of experience between them they will work closely with our Research and Development team to meet our immediate and future tooling requirements.

December 2005 - Celebrating National Tree Week

1st Conwy Scout group planting 135 trees. 

The area in Bodlondeb woods had been cleared of Rhododendrons to create a canopy.  The Scouts objective was to plant the trees which are native to the woodland. 

The Scouts were the first in Conwy to use the BioTube to protect their Ash, Hazel and Oak trees.

The project was overseen by Leslie Lawson, Countryside Warden for Conwy County Borough Council.

November 2005 - BioCycle Ltd Pluck the Greenest Apple

BioTube and BugBar inventors BioCycle Ltd, based at Llangefni, Anglesey are among the top winners in this year's National Green Apple Environment Awards. We won Green Champion of Wales. 

Winners were presented with their trophies at The House of Commons, London where they were guests of Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt.  Former England cricket captain Allan Lamb presented the trophies.  Local Anglesey MP Albert Owen accompanied Directors David and Adrianne Jones to the event.

November 2005 - BioCycle Scoop a Gold Medal

November 2005 - BioCycle Scoop a Gold Medal Adrianne Jones, Director of BioCycle Ltd has received yet another award to add to her growing collection.  Adrianne won a gold medal award at the British Invention Show 2005.  BioCycle Ltd were placed in the Industrial category for their revolutionary products the BioTube and BugBar, the world's first 100% fully biodegradable tree shelter and seedling cover, and beat off stiff competition to win the prestigious gold medal.  The British Invention Show took place over four days in Alexandra Palace, London in late October.

October 2005 - BioCycle opens its New Factory

October 2005 - BioCycle opens its New Factory Situated on the beautiful island of Anglesey, North Wales, the factory is on the Welsh Development Agency's Bryn Cefni Industrial Park in Llangefni.  The new 25,000 square foot purpose built factory is furnished with all the necessary machinery and equipment to produce the BioTube and BugBar and will create a total of 24 new jobs. This will provide a major boost to the manufacturing industry in North Wales.
